Body Cleansing with Ayurveda

  With the Spring Season almost here, its time to start a seasonal cleanse.  One of the best cleansing procedure for all Doshas is Jala Neti every morning. It's a nasal cleanse with a mild salt solution with warm water along with small amounts of oil . The best oil as a part of nasal cleansing is Anu Oil. One could use a steel Neti pot as shown in the picture if they have tendencies towards allergies, hay fever or intolerances.  Always perform Jala Neti in the morning for both nostrils to balance both sides of the body.

What is Prakriti/Prakruti according to Ayurveda

  According to Ayurveda, each individual has two body types. Prakriti : Basic Body Type, the one you are born with, it's like your DNA imprint. It doesn't change and will always be within us.
